Kanye West Drops New Song “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine” Featuring North West and Diddy

Kanye West has just released a new song, Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, featuring his daughter North West, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Combs’ son, King Combs. The track, shared on X/Twitter on March 15, is already sparking major conversation online.

Kanye West’s Latest Music Release

The song, which runs for 4 minutes and 44 seconds, was uploaded with a blank-screen video and the caption:

“LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE new song by PUFF DADDY feat. His son KING COMBS, my daughter NORTH WEST, and new Yeezy artist from Chicago Jasmine Williams.”

Diddy’s Controversial Feature in Kanye’s Song

Diddy, who is currently facing multiple legal charges, appears in the track via a phone call snippet. In the recording, he thanks West for supporting his children, saying:

“I wanna just thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man. Ain’t nobody reach out to them, ain’t nobody call them.”

West responds emotionally:

“Absolutely, I love you so much man. You raised me. Even when I ain’t know you, know what I’m saying?”

North West’s Rising Music Career

The track also highlights 11-year-old North West, who delivers a rap verse:

“When you see me shining, then you see the light.”

North has been gaining recognition as a budding artist, having collaborated with her father before. She also announced in 2023 that she is working on her debut album.

Kim Kardashian’s Alleged Reaction

Before the song’s release, West reportedly shared private texts between himself and Kim Kardashian regarding North’s involvement in the track. According to TMZ, Kardashian was against North being included and attempted to protect her daughter’s name from being associated with Diddy.

She allegedly texted West:

“I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her. One person has to trademark!”

West, in response, reportedly issued a heated reply, saying:

“Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”

Kanye West’s Social Media Return

The rapper has had a turbulent history on social media, having been banned from X/Twitter after sharing anti-Semitic remarks. His return to the platform to release Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine has reignited debate about his influence and controversies.

As Kanye West continues to push boundaries with his music, his latest release featuring North West, Diddy, and King Combs is sure to keep fans and critics talking.
