- Both competitors scaled opposite sides of the cage for an intense stare-down before climbing down and immediately engaging as the bell rang. Ospreay appeared to tweak his ankle, giving Fletcher an early advantage. Seizing the opportunity, Fletcher sent Ospreay face-first into the cage, drawing first blood. Despite the setback, Ospreay retaliated, repeatedly smashing Fletcher into the steel. Ospreay attempted a Hidden Blade, but Fletcher countered.
- Fletcher exposed a turnbuckle, but the plan backfired as he was driven into it, causing him to bleed as well. The match escalated as they exchanged brutal strikes and even licked each other’s blood in a show of savage intensity. Fletcher regained control momentarily before Mark Davis intervened, using bolt cutters to unlock the cage. Davis handed Fletcher a duffel bag containing weapons.
- Ospreay turned the tide, retrieving a barbed wire bat from the bag and channeling Cactus Jack’s signature “Bang Bang” taunt. However, Fletcher delivered a low blow to regain momentum. He swung at Ospreay with the bat, but Ospreay dodged and retaliated with a Hidden Blade, followed by a Stormbreaker. Just as victory seemed imminent, a bloodied Davis disrupted the pin.
- Outnumbered but undeterred, Ospreay fought back, managing to neutralize Davis. He then executed an incredible Oscutter from the cage, but Fletcher resiliently kicked out. Fletcher ascended the structure and, from the top, stabbed Ospreay with a screwdriver before licking it. He then delivered a devastating Brainbuster onto a chair, but Ospreay refused to stay down. Ospreay later poured thumbtacks onto the mat, but Fletcher turned the tables and hit a Styles Clash onto the tacks.
- Both competitors ascended the cage once more. This time, Ospreay stabbed Fletcher with the screwdriver before delivering a jaw-dropping Spanish Fly from the top of the cage into the ring. As Fletcher, barely conscious, screamed that he “f*cking hated” Ospreay, Ospreay capitalized and secured the victory with a Tiger Driver ’91.
